Animal Rights Update
Narrowing my focus to one facet of animal rights has proven to be very difficult. There are so many different issues to tackle within this one topic that I don’t know which subsection I should concentrate on. Because of this I think I am going to keep the topic of animal rights very broad so as to not leave anything out. Since my main goal for this project was to raise awareness I feel as though it would be counterproductive to talk about one certain aspect of animal rights instead of several. After researching several of the different issues involved, I believe talking about only one section of the issue would make it seem as though that particular section of the issue is more important that the others when that is not the case.
Focusing on the big picture will make it easier for me to meet the goals I have for this project. My only concern with taking this approach is that it may be difficult to include everything. This could be a problem because I might have trouble making sure I am providing a comprehensive coverage of the issue of animal rights. However, I think focusing on the big picture will be more beneficial than focusing on a single topic.
