Wikipedia Edit: Concussions in American Football
When searching Wikipedia, I came across an article specific to my issue: Concussions in American Football. This page was already well established, and contained a lot of interesting information. I did notice, however, that the section on high school football was lacking. To fix this, I added a couple of different statistics that helped reinforce the impact that concussions have on high school football.

While this edit may not seem to be too substantial, I believe that my additions help to improve this section of the page. This is due to the relevance of this information. It is important for viewers to know that football has the highest rate of concussion among high school sports. It is also important to understand how the lack of access to medical personnel affects players.
The editing process was actually much easier than I had expected. For my edit, I was able to simply edit one section of the page, making the process much easier. I did not need to add any new sections or headers, I was able to insert my information into the pre-existing paragraphs and add the references. Adding the references confused me at first, but I soon found the item on the toolbar that facilitates this process.
Although I only gave the edit one night to see if it sticks, I don’t expect a removal. I cited all of my material and believe that my information is worth keeping.
