Post on Infographics, due by classtime 11.11.14
This week, I’d like you to do a short bit of reading and looking at infographics in preparation for our assignment coming up. Then, I’d like you to find an infographic online that you like. Finally, please write a short blog post about what works in these infographics. Mention specific details about the infographic you found as well as at least one infographic that I’ve linked below.
1) First, read the Introduction to the Best American Infographics 2014, by Nate Silver. It’s just two pages, and you can see it on Google books.
2) Then look at these infographics, which are all featured in that book, and write a short blog post about which one you found most interesting, PLUS one more you found online yourself.

3) Find an infographic that you like online. I suggest you visit one of these sites for good infographics:
4) Write a blog post where you include a link and a picture of the infographic you chose (which doesn’t have to be about your public issue, but can be if you want), and you talk about what works for it. Also mention which of the infographics that I linked above works the best for you, and why you think it’s good.
5) Read several of your classmates’s posts to see what they think about the infographics. You can comment if you’d like to!
See you all on Tuesday!
