More Examples of Kinetic Typography

I decided to look at more videos on kinetic typography to get some inspiration for my own project and I came across this website that had some neat examples of what kinetic typography can do.  I particularly like the second and third one.  The second one, OFF Moscow/Film Titles uses a lot of 3D design, which is something I will probably not touch at the moment.  I tried to do something with 3D in Photoshop and it did not go well.  I would much rather do something that is more of my comfort level, especially since I’m so new with text animation.  The third one, From Paper to Screen, is something that I’m more familiar with in that the text moves with the music.  I thought it was cool when it went through the different types of styles and things you can do with text animation.  The first part of the video dealt with just basic typesetting things but it was still entertaining to look at.  The second part used typography in cinema and had lots of effects that looked cool.

I definitely want to try out some of these things that were shown in the video.  I just hope it would not be too hard, or I might not have enough time to try out some of the things like the moving circles in the eighth video, Breaking Bad, or like making a trumpet play by having lines curling and coming out in the ninth video, The Hush Sound-Lions Roar.  Looking at these definitely gave me some more ideas of what I can do with my song and takes the pressure off a little about having to think about what I should do on my own.  I’m just hoping that some of these examples won’t be too hard to do myself.
