Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2

Last year when Kanye West’s highly anticipated album The Life of Pablo was released, one of the songs that immediately caught everyone’s attention was Father “Stretch My Hands Pt. 2”.  In this track, Kanye sampled Desiigner’s song “Panda” so much that it was basically a remix of the song.  However, the way that Kanye used the sample made it sound like an entirely different song.  The reason this remix is so interesting to me is that because of Kanye’s sampling of “Panda” the song became a number one hit even though no one had known who Desiigner was previously, and it was the only song he had ever released.
