My name is Tyler Bechtel and I’m a junior studying Communications with a certificate in Digital Media. I was originally a business major but decided sophomore year that I liked writing more than money so here I am. My love of words has made me a huge fan of both rap music and comedy, and it would be a dream come true if I could land a job writing about or working in either of these fields, as I’m fascinated by the culture and inner workings of both industries. I also have a passion for technology, which is a large part of the reason I’m in this class. When I’m not immediately occupied you can find me glued to my phone screen making dumb jokes on twitter. I also like to ski, watch netflix, and eat breakfast food.
I root for the Eagles but have completely given up on all the other Philadelphia sports teams. I enjoy watching pretty much any sport, especially those that aren’t on TV that often such as X Games, Rugby, and Handball.
I’m from central PA but once I graduate I plan to stay in Pittsburgh or move west like Kanye.
I chose to use a gif of a roller coaster because I love amusement parks and thrill rides.
