This was my first time actually working in Photoshop. \u00a0I’ve dabbled with it before in high school but I’ve never really worked on editing images in Photoshop. \u00a0It definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone. \u00a0At the same time, it was a lot easier than I imagined it would be.<\/p>\n
On that note, I definitely struggled with Photoshop. \u00a0When I was putting the leaves on my tree that I was doing from scratch, I didn’t realize at first that each time I copied and pasted the shape, it would make a new layer–which made it annoying to move after pasting it a bunch of times. \u00a0I’d have to select that layer and then move it and repeat it a bunch of times. \u00a0That made it go a lot slower than I had anticipated but it worked out when I combined some layers to make it a bigger size when pasting.<\/p>\n
I also struggled with the 3D. \u00a0I tried to make one of my images 3D but it didn’t work which was very frustrating. \u00a0I couldn’t figure out how to get out of the 3D tool and since it saved my image as that, I had to think of a new image to do. \u00a0I couldn’t reverse what I did when I had to force quit the program. \u00a0My image was essentially ruined and not even Google could help me reverse the effects. \u00a0I couldn’t spend another hour and a half working on the trimming the image again to get back what I had lost. \u00a0In the end, I had to do a different image. \u00a0Needless to say, I don’t think I’m going to explore the 3D option any time soon.<\/p>\n
However frustrating my struggles with Photoshop were, it was a cool project to work on. \u00a0It was nice a experience and I’m certain it’ll help me in the future to know the basics of Photoshop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
