I am that shy person that will not talk to anyone or go up to anyone to start a conversation, but if you approach me, I will talk non-stop. It’s a bit puzzling but I’m not the type of person to put myself out there. Being the introvert that I am, I had to learn quickly to get over my fear of talking in front of a crowd of people when I began to pursue stage management. It’s difficult to hold and run meetings when you’re afraid to speak up. By this point, you may have figured out that I major in Theatre Arts. I love the entertainment industry but am too shy to perform onstage so I chose the route of doing behind-the-scenes stuff instead. Unable to do a film minor while being a theatre major, I chose to do the media certificate.
\nOn top of loving theatre and the entertainment industry in general, I also have a passion in anime and manga. It started when I was young and has stuck with me since. I get into these phases where I move from one topic to another in high school. So for a certain period of time, I would be into Korean drama, or Chinese drama, or anime\/manga, or just American television. It would then just rotate. I’m also very picky about what I watch in terms of anime\/manga. If I don’t like the animation or drawing, I won’t watch or read it, even if the story line is good.
\nIn terms of digital media, the interest lies more in animation and how it happens. I’m taking this class in hopes of learning different forms of media and how to create them since my knowledge is very limited.<\/p>\n
