I don’t know about you, but I don’t really know HTML or CSS very well. So I found these two websites that are cheat sheets to the tutorials of the homework that we did. I find these two website to be extremely helpful because it lists the abbreviations on one side and has the explanation on the other. It is also split into sections so it’s easier to find the category you’re looking for.
For someone like me that has no experience with HTML or CSS, I think having this open while I work and get used to the language is extremely useful because let’s face it, who is going to remember everything from the tutorial. I know I can’t. I find it easier to have a cheat sheet next to me while I work so I won’t have to play the tutorial while I’m trying to create something new.
The HTML Cheat Sheet website also has a lot of things that were not in the simple tutorials which may help in the future. The CSS Cheat Sheet website seems to build on the HTML on which makes sense because they’re really the same website, just different topics. Not to mention that CSS is building upon HTML. In addition to the cheat sheets, there’s also an introduction at the very top that has a link that takes you to a different place if you happen to not know what HTML and CSS is. They then explain in detail what each topic is.
In any case, I find that these two cheat sheet will be very useful in becoming more familiar with the language or if I get confused as to why it isn’t working when I’m trying to create something. It’s nice to be able to check it and make sure I’m doing it correctly.
