I generally do not listen to remixes of my favorite artists. I tend to stay towards the originals and try to memorize the lyrics and the tones. Whenever my friend plays a remix of a song I love, I am usually pleased to hear the new art form. Some remixes are not my forte, but I appreciate the new art form that is created with a remix.
Say it Ain’t So is one of my favorite Weezer songs to listen to and thinking about a remix of this classic song confuses me. Why would you like to remix this classic? It’s perfect already! After listening to this, I understood how remix presents different ways to listen to a song and how each new remix can surprise you. I absolutely love this remix now.
