Amy’s Introduction

I’m originally from Beijing, China, but I’ve been moving from places to places since I was in middle school. Because of my dad’s job, I was lucky enough to experience a lot of cultures other than my own.

I moved to Arlington, Virginia when I was in middle school, and that’s when I first started to really learn English. After two years in Arlington, my family then moved to the Philippines. I attended an international school which includes kindergarten to high school, and that’s where I made friends from many kinds of culture and background. After another two years, I moved back to Virginia, and went to an all girls boarding school in McLean. It’s no joke that private boarding schools are just as strict as shown in the movies that I’ve watched before. We called it “a women’s prison” as there’re rules for everything and it’s impossible to get out of the white fences that are built around the campus. Although it was a tough time, I really learned discipline and self-management that I think will benefit me in the long run.

As for my hobbies, I am a huge game addict. I spend a lot of my free time playing League of Legends partly because I feel excited when I have a high elo than my friends. Other than playing video game, I also like photography especially portrait photography. I often ask my friends to be my models, and I would use Photoshop to edit my pictures afterwards.
